Pepper was taught to crochet by her mother and great aunt Jessie while in elementary school. Pepper had many years of experiencing her teachings, since her aunt lived to be 102. Her mother was not only very creative decorating and remodeling the house to make it their home sweet home, but also in the community known for her outstanding decorations and furnishings at church.
